Ok! all you Ebay sellers out there! I buy more than I sell on Ebay but still I think the changes to the feedback system are WRONG. They made it one sided, for Buyers only. Even if your buyer does not pay or they are unreasonable, nothing they do will matter because you can not leave them negative or neutral feedback. They say that this gives the buyer a chance to leave honest feedback with out fear of retaliation (from the dishonest seller). What it really does is give the buyer (the dishonest buyer) the ability to say whatever they want. No need for them to try and work things out or even give the seller a chance to do anything about the problem. As a seller I want the customer to be happy and I always try to work things out so that both are taken care of. I think my feedback shows this. But there are always those buyers who did not read the auction or who want it to be new even though they are buying used and you can never please those people. But no problem they are going to be given the chance to ruin your Ebay rating just because you can do nothing about it. THIS IS A HUGE CAN OF WORMS. The only way to change this is for the SELLERS TO STOP SELLING! Without SELLERS there will be no need for BUYERS. Buyers do not pay the PayPal or Ebay feeds so I guess if we stop selling, they will stop making money.
As an ex-PowerSeller, I’m surprised by the changes eBay is making as I can fully remember the pain of dealing with bad bidders. The latest changes set me in motion. I thought, how can I try to level the playing field? That’s when I decided to launch a new FREE service called RepXchange.com, short for Reputation Exchange.
Here sellers can download custom blocked bidder lists to match their business needs, allowing you to weed out bad buyers, and by extension, avoid spending needless time on re-listing and filing dispute claims.
Please take a test drive at http://www.repxchange.com and give us your feedback, as we truly value any comments you may have.
Try it out today and tell your fellow sellers. The more sellers that sign up, the more useful it will be!
